Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Director, Product Marketing to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing the Product Marketing strategy for Skyhigh Security working across multiple geographic regions. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Product.

You will lead a team of Product Marketers and work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as product management, sales, customers, channel partners and industry analysts to understand our target audience, our unique value proposition, and the competitive landscape. You will use this knowledge to develop product collaterals, competitive battlecards, marketing tactics, product launch and messaging to drive pipeline growth and conversion.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Director, Product Marketing to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing the Product Marketing strategy for Skyhigh Security working across multiple geographic regions. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Product.

You will lead a team of Product Marketers and work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as product management, sales, customers, channel partners and industry analysts to understand our target audience, our unique value proposition, and the competitive landscape. You will use this knowledge to develop product collaterals, competitive battlecards, marketing tactics, product launch and messaging to drive pipeline growth and conversion. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of product marketing, including product positioning, content creation, competitive analysis, industry analyst engagement and field enablement.

  • Develop solution positioning and corresponding messaging that uniquely differentiates the company's solutions versus the competition.

  • Write compelling, highly differentiated, product messaging and content that catches customer's attention.

  • Arm salespeople with collateral and tools that will help them find and close deals such as: datasheets, Competitive battle cards, case studies, whitepapers, presentations, solution briefs, videos, and blog posts.

  • Work with teams across the organization to research, plan and implement the go-to-market (GTM) tactics for product launches that drive demand, customer adoption, and revenue.

  • Collaborate with the demand generation team to create campaign assets that deliver results.

  • Work closely with Industry Analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC etc. to ensure that Skyhigh Security is positioned as a leader in the industry.

  • Develop and mentor a team of talented product marketing professionals that produce exceptional results.

  • Be an evangelist and spokesperson for Skyhigh Security, communicating and educating internal and external stakeholders (customers/prospects, webinars, conferences, sales, channel partners, industry analysts).

Qualifications and Experience

  • 12+ years of product marketing leadership experience within cybersecurity, SaaS  or disruptive technology (i.e. AI/ML) industries with the most recent 4+ years of experience in a global, product marketing leadership role for a growth company.

  • Strong proven background  in content creation, product positioning, analyst relations, competitive analysis, branding and sales enablement preferably in the security industry.

  • An excellent track record of leading, developing and mentoring a global product marketing team. 

  • Excellent writing, communications and presentation skills as well as exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and communications suitable for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively with multiple stakeholders across different function areas.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with an ability to build strong working relationships across levels, departments, and geographically dispersed office locations.

  • Available for travel to regional offices, site visits, industry conferences and events.

  • Driven, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Strong technical background required.

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business required.  MBA preferred.

Location:  Onsite San Jose, CA or Plano, TX (this is not a remote position)

The Base Pay Range is $172,500 – 246,500 – $321,000. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target bonus) is $215,625– $308,125 – $401,250. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
